Frequently asked questions.

How do I send you my audio or video files?

Once you book, you’ll receive a secure upload link. We use encrypted file transfer systems to ensure your content is handled with complete confidentiality and compliance.

How long does transcription take?

Turnaround depends on the length and complexity of the audio, but most files are delivered within 3–5 business days. Expedited options (24–48 hours) are available upon request.

Is your service GDPR-compliant?

Yes. We are fully GDPR-compliant and ICO registered. All data is processed securely, and client confidentiality is always prioritised. NDAs can be provided where required.

Do you use AI or human transcription?

We’re proudly human-led. Every file is transcribed by a trained, UK-based professional to ensure accuracy, context, and tone—especially important for accents, industry language, and sensitive content.

Can you handle confidential or sensitive material?

Yes. We regularly work with sensitive content including legal proceedings, academic research, and government consultations. All files are handled under strict confidentiality, and we’re happy to sign NDAs where required.

Do you offer timestamping or speaker labelling?

Absolutely. You can choose to include timestamps, speaker identification, or even verbatim formatting—just let us know what’s needed for your project. We tailor transcripts to your preferred style.

Do you offer bulk or long-term contracts?

Yes. We work with many organisations on a retainer basis or across multi-phase projects. If you need ongoing transcription support, we can offer custom packages and priority turnaround.

What types of files do you accept?

We accept most common audio and video file formats including MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, and Zoom recordings. If your file is in a different format, just let us know—we’ll guide you through the upload process.
